About Jalema, Inc.
Jalema is a 60-year old filing system manufacturer
specializing in vertical hanging files for graphic
arts, digital media, AEC and general office document
applications.
Jalema suspended hanging files have
the unique Jalema hook that attaches to special duo-profile
T-bars that are configured into high-density floor racks,
wall racks and mobile carts. Custom cut bars and brackets
can be used to retrofit into file cabinets, 4-post shelving,
mobile shelving systems and wooden cabinets. This open shelf
filing method allows for easier access to documents when compared
to lateral file cabinets. Jalema’s multimedia filing
capabilities allow you to mix and match different files within
the same system since they all use the Jalema hook-and-bar
suspension system.
The Grafi-System is primarily sold in the USA and is a graphic arts filing system
used for storing film, plates, maps, art and other large document media. Large
document files helps protect large format material and art storage racks and
carts helps save space.
Jalema recently added blueprint filing products to address blueprint storage
issues in AEC environments. These large document storage products allow you to
TRIPLE YOUR CAPACITY when compared to flat file cabinets making this the most
efficient an cost effective large document filing system available!
This vertical filing method allows for greater space efficiency
when compared to conventional drawer filing methods since
vertical space is used to accommodate more linear filing inches
per square foot. Color-coded labels and index tabs are used
for quickly locating and filing documents.
